The rare Bay Psalm Book sold at Sotheby's on Tuesday night for a record $14.16 million. Making it the most valuable book in the world. The book is a translation of the Biblical Psalms made by the Puritans back in 1640.

Only 11 copies remain.

The copy sold at auction Tuesday came from a Church in Boston. It was purchased by Philanthropist David Rubenstein.

Sotheby's says Rubenstein plans to loan it to libraries across the country, before putting it on long-term loan at one of them.
