Warm This Afternoon, But Chilly Tonight 10-18-13

Temperatures in the 70's will quickly give way to much colder air this evening
After a muggy and warm start today, temperatures will have no problem pushing into the upper 60's in the northern Basin and upper 70's through the central and southern Basin.

Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy and some of the eastern areas could see a slight chance of rain.

A cold front will run through this evening, and that will bring significant changes.

As you're heading out to Friday night football, winds will be gusty out of the north at 20-25 mph and temperatures will start rapidly falling off.

60's will return for kickoff, but as you're leaving the games, temps could be in the 50's and 40's.

Overnight lows will dip into the mid 30's in many areas, with a few of us getting close to a freeze.

Tomorrow brings a nice rebound as temperatures climb back into the upper 60's and lower 70's for your Saturday.

Upper 70's are back in the forecast by Sunday.

Watch for another cold front next week, with temps back in the upper 60's by Tuesday.
