Below is the full press release from the City of Midland:

Midland police are searching for a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery at a Midland bank last night.

At approximately 6:36 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to My Community Federal Credit Union located at 600 W. Louisiana Ave. in reference to an aggravated robbery.  Officers met with the victim, who stated that he drove up to the ATM at the bank, put his card into the machine, and withdrew $40.  As he was in the middle of this transaction, the suspect approached the victim's car from behind and displayed a box cutter in the victim's direction, demanding the money. The victim gave the suspect the $40 and drove away as the suspect unsuccessfully attempted to retrieve more money from the ATM. Police attempted to track the suspect with K-9 units but was not able to locate him.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, short in stature, heavy set, with dark, slicked-back hair, in his late 40s to early 50s.  He was said to be wearing a black and green checkered hoodie with a black hood and blue jeans.
