Triple Digits Dominate The Forecast 7-30-13

A summer pattern will take over this week and keep things hot across the Permian Basin
We still have a few chances for rain this afternoon, mainly in the Davis Mountains and in our northern counties.

Chances will only be about 20% in those locations.

The big story, though, is the return of triple digit heat to the forecast.

Look for 100 degree temps across the area today.

Some of our western locations could approach 110 (Mentone is forecasted to reach 108).

Skies will be mostly clear this afternoon with southeasterly breezes in the 5-10 mph range.

After that, we stay in the 100's through the weekend and into next week.
