ODESSA -- A teenage girl is facing felony charges for allegedly trying to run over a police officer with a car.
Police say it happened on Friday in Odessa at the Sagebrush Apartments on 8th Street.
Officer Juan Ramos was trying to stop a stolen car when the driver reportedly hit him.
Officer Ramos was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
On Monday, Officer Ramos identified the driver as being a 16 year old girl, but her name is not being released.
She's facing charges of aggravated assault on a public servant a first degree felony and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
