Rain Possible Today, And A Beautiful Weekend Ahead 8-23-13

20% coverage today dissipates by tomorrow, but lower 90's dominate
Today...

Same setup as yesterday, with storms moving north from the Trans-Pecos into the Permian Basin.

I think we'll have better coverage than we did yesterday, but the storms will still be widely scattered.

Main concerns will be high winds, lightning and brief heavy rain.

Mostly Clear-Partly Cloudy skies today with highs in the lower 90's.

Tomorrow...

Redevelopment with storms in the Davis Mountains in the afternoon.

Skies start to clear out and we'll call it mostly sunny for your Saturday afternoon.

Temps will be, again, in the lower 90's.

Sunday...

More of the same as temperatures remain in the lower 90's with mostly clear skies.

Could see a storm pop up in the Davis mountains again.

Next week...

Temperatures remain steady under mostly clear skies.

A storm could be possible in the Davis Mountains everyday through at least Wednesdays as multiple disturbances track west.
