Rain Continues Today 10-14-13

Rain is likely today but chances taper off toward Wednesday
Heavy rain Sunday caused flooding problems across the Permian Basin.

Those problems are falling off since the rain has stopped (for now) but be careful if you see any standing water on the roads.

We are looking for more rain in the forecast this afternoon at about a 60% coverage across the area.

There could be brief periods of heavy rainfall which could quickly cause more flooding concerns.

Skies will be cloudy today as there is still plenty of moisture over the area.

Highs will still be on the warm side, in the low to upper 80's.

Through Midland/Odessa, look for about 83/82.

A cold front will push through in the early morning hours and present a chance for more rain as well as a shift in the winds.

With NE winds tomorrow, look for highs in the mid and upper 60's across the area with another 30% chance of rain.

Even cooler on Wednesday, highs will only be around 60 degrees.

Again, we see a 30% chance of rain on Wednesday.

After that we warm into the upper 60's, lower 70's for the weekend.
