Permian Must Prepare for a Rejuvenated Central Team

The Panthers will travel to San Angelo on Friday night, and head coach Blake Feldt knows the Bobcats will come out with "Their hair on fire".
Permian is coming off a bye week where they lost two of their defensive starters. The two players quit the program, and now Permian will have to fill the void with young, inexperienced players. Head coach Blake Feldt believes however that the kids will step in nicely and learn and grow with the playing time they receive.

The Panthers are tied for fourth with Midland High in the district 2-5A standings at 2-2, and this week the MOJO head to San Angelo to take on Mickey Scott and the Central Bobcats.

Feldt knows it's going to be a tall task to slow down the high octane Central offense, saying "Well there's no doubt that we need to try and keep it out of their hands. Mickey Scott is a fantastic quarterback, he can make things happen and he has a great group of receivers. They're extremely explosive on the offensive side and they do a good job on the defensive side. I tell ya coming off of that Tascosa loss, it's a sure thing they're going to be playing with their hair on fire on Friday night."
