OHS Preps for Abilene after Bye Week

The Bronchos spent their bye week tightening their game and preparing for the Abilene High Eagles.
The Odessa High Bronchos are in the thick of the District 2-5A playoff race. Tied with Midland High and Permian for the 4th and final playoff spot, the Bronchos have a huge game this week as they travel to Abilene and take on the Eagles.

Abilene has struggled this year, but in their past two games they have scored a combined total of 107 points.

Bronchos head coach Ron King knows his team needs to be ready for the high octane Eagle offense. King said "They're very potent on offense. They've been able to move the football against almost everybody. That will be a challenge for us. Defensively, they're front seven is outstanding. We've got to do a good job of moving the football. I really feel like in this game against them it's going to come down to who wins the war in the trenches."
