"We just could never find a rhythm offensively and defensively just had a difficult time stopping Mr. Coots," said King. "He was very accurate with his passes and basically kept a lot of drives going and (it) was not a pleasant evening. We got beat in all three phases of the game -- whether it was kicking or the offense or defense so that's one of the things that I've talked to the kids about after the game is that we need to get refocused and get ready for our next ballgame."
After a surprising district opener win versus Permian, the Odessa Bronchos have now lost three straight, and are quickly trying to figure out the cause to the skid. Odessa head coach Ron King had the weekend to look over the game tape, and in the end, he gave credit where it was due.
