oDESSA -- Odessa police have arrested a man for allegedly making bombs in his home.
Lonnie Savage was arrested on Saturday after neighbors called police saying he had threatened to kill them and set their homes on fire.
When police arrived on the 2500 block of Cumberland, they say they smelled a strong gasoline odor coming from savage.
Officers searched his home and backyard and found explosives that they say were capable of inflicting serious injury or death.
The bomb squad was called to the home and savage was arrested.
No one was injured.
Savage is being charged with prohibited weapon manufacture and possession of components of explosives.
