ODESSA - Odessa High School will soon be getting a new science building, but first they have to demolish an existing building that still has asbestos insulation.
At Thursday's ECISD board meeting, trustees unanimously approved asbestos abatement and demolition for the north vocational building.
It's the beginning of a bond project at the school that will eventually make way for the new science building.
The district hasn't announced a date for the demolition yet.
