ALBUQUERQUE -- Midland Police have helped solve a cold case out of Albuquerque.
Ramon Astorga Ramirez is now being held in Midland county jail, awaiting extradition to New Mexico.
He's accused of first degree murder of Paul Dubois, who died of gunshot wounds after an altercation back in 1986.
The case was reopened in January this year.
Albuquerque police worked with the Texas Rangers and Department of Public safety to identify Ramirez as a suspect.
