Midland High Wins Big; Prepares to Travel to DFW

The Midland High Bulldogs put on an offensive show in Week Zero, but head coach Craig Yenzer thinks they could've been better.

The Midland High Bulldogs are coming off a dominant offensive performance against El Paso Americas in week zero of High School Football. The bulldogs racked up over 400 yards of offense en route to a 41-23 victory against the Trail Blazers at Grande Communications Stadium. Up next they travel to Dallas/Fort Worth to take on L.D. Bell on Friday night. Head coach Craig Yenzer thinks this will be a great opportunity for his kids and the Bulldog football program.

Yenzer said "Well it's a really good opportunity for our program going to play a metroplex school. Obviously we know if you want to be a playoff caliber team you have to compete because that's the direction you're going to have to go. My thing right now for our kids, my challenge for our football program is let's come out first thing and make a statement. Let's play well and take care of the things that we need to take care of, and then we'll see where the cards fall."
