MIDLAND -- First United Methodist Church in midland recreated the night of Jesus' birth over the weekend.
They call it One Night in Bethlehem.
It took place Saturday and Sunday.
The project began six years ago, and it's designed to teach people the sights and smells of what life was like during that time.
"We're very excited to offer this as our gift to the community tonight, just to remember why we're celebrating Christmas," Donna Fields said.
It took 143 volunteers to make their dream a reality.
It was also a free event for the public.
After the tour people were invited to a special blessing with First Methodist's pastors.
