Midland Christian Seeking Perfection as Postseason Rolls On

The Mustangs are seeking to win their third consecutive state championship, and now is the time to execute perfection.
Midland Christian finished off the regular season undefeated at 10-0, and are now 11-0 after their shut out victory over Tyler Grace Community 56-0 in the first round of the playoffs.

Now the Mustangs will continue their run for a 3rd consecutive state championship as they travel to Clyde and take on Dallas Parish Episcopal in the Quarterfinals.

Midland Christian head coach Greg McClendon said his team is best when they are a well balanced offensive attack, and the Mustangs have been just that as of late. They have been executing their rushing and passing attacks to an extremely high level of play.

McClendon said "What we talked about this week was dotting the I's and crossing the T's. It's time to start grinding it out and working for perfection. Taking every step correctly, and playing at a very high intensity level, and our focus needs to be higher. What we've done up to this point is not good enough anymore and we want to peak in the next three weeks."
