Midland Christian Prepares To Avenge Only Loss From 2012

The Mustangs had only one loss in 2012, and it was to the team who will be at Mustang Field on Friday night.

The Midland Christian Mustangs dominated the Monahans Loboes in week zero, putting up 47 points in their victory.

The Mustangs had seven touchdown passes from senior quarterback Mason McClendon. This week though could be tougher for Midland Christian. Their only blemish a year ago came when they lost to Big Spring, and the Steers will be in Midland on Friday night for a huge game between these two schools. Midland Christian head Coach Greg McClendon talked about the atmosphere around his team this week as they gear up for Friday night.

"Business like. We came off of a big win a year ago when they knocked us off and that was our only blemish. That's not lost on the kids right now. I think we'll have a great week of practice, and I'll see the intensity level I want to see, and hopefully we'll be ready to take care of business on Friday night" said McClendon.
