MCS Mustangs Return to Routine after Bye Week

Midland Christian is 8-0, and spent their bye week conditioning and nursing any injuries to ensure they stay healthy for the final stretch of the 2013 season.
Midland Christian went into their bye week 8-0, so the Mustangs got to take some days off during that time. Head coach Greg McClendon said his team had two days of practice last week where they worked on their conditioning, and other than that they rested up to ensure that everyone remains healthy for the final stretch of games plus the post season.

McClendon also said the Mustangs came out a little flat in practice early in the week, but said that is expected for any team that is thrown off their routine.

"When you get a good race horse out of their routine sometimes it takes a little bit to get back into it. That's kind of what I feel like it was, we got out of their routine a week ago. So we're going to have to whoop it and spur it a little bit to get them back in their routine" said McClendon.
