Lee Rebels Preparing for Speedy Lubbock Coronado Offense

Midland Lee is fresh off a bye week, and preparing to travel to Lubbock and take on the quick Coronado Mustangs.
Midland Lee is fresh off their bye week, and are preparing to travel to Lubbock to take on the Coronado Mustangs Friday night. Midland Lee is 2-1 overall, and 1-0 in district play with their most recent win coming at Grande Communications Stadium when they defeated Lorenzo Joe and the Abilene Cooper Cougars 42-35 on September 13th.

The Rebels head coach James Morton wants to focus on attention to detail against Coronado, and is looking to his offensive line to establish a strong running game and to be consistent throughout the entire game.

On defense Morton is worried about the Mustangs team speed, saying "We're going to Lubbock, Coronado I know is going to be ready. They have great, great athletic ability and team speed. They outran Cooper all over the field offensively. That's a concern to us, we have to make sure we take good angles and have to be able to limit their big plays."
