Lee Rebels Beat El Dorado; Have a Chance At Revenge Against Southlake

Midland Lee is heading to the Area Round of the playoffs after their victory over El Paso El Dorado, and they'll get a shot at revenge against the Southlake Carroll Dragons.
Midland Lee has advanced to the Area Round of the playoffs after their 47-28 victory over El Paso El Dorado in the Bi-District round.

Rebels head coach James Morton said he has been satisfied with how well his defense has stepped up in the recent weeks, and knows that trend needs to continue going forward.

Morton said "I'm very proud of our kids. Traveling out there, I was concerned about their football team first, and then playing at their home stadium. I thought we got off the bus and took care of business, We paid good attention to detail and really played well in limiting their run game. That's going to have to be a big key this week as we go into the Southlake game."

Midland Lee will now travel to Saginaw and take on the Southlake Carroll Dragons from Chisholm Trail Stadium. The game is Friday, November 22nd at 7:30 PM.
