MIDLAND -- The Lee High School AFJROTC Booster Club LIVE on Good Morning West Texas talking about their involvement with Miss Cayce’s Christmas Store 2nd Annual Charity Rumble and Raffle. Lee High ROTC ablong with 7 other local charities are involved in selling tickets to raffle off a 7.5 ft. Christmas tree decorated by the Show Me Decorating experts and loaded with Christopher Radko ornaments. The tree is donated by Miss Cayce’s Christmas Store and valued at $5,000.

The LHS Air Force JROTC Booster Club is a 501c3 non profit. 100% of proceeds raised by the boosters support the ROTC program, the cadets and the instructors.

The cadets will be participating in the Bataan Memorial March in White Sands, NM on March 23. This event pays tribute to many Americans who died and pays homage to the survivors as POWs in World War 2. Travel costs alone last year for the spring enrichment trip were more than $3000. That number did not include food or lodging aboard the USS Lexington in Corpus.

To take one competition team to compete for a weekend it costs approximately $1800.

Summer Leadership Camp will cost approximately $225 per cadet.

The President of the Lee High School AFJROTC Booster Club, Laurie Clark, says "It is very expensive to run an ROTC program without military funding. That is why the Miss Cayce's ticket sales are so important to Lee High School AFJROTC. We appreciate Becky and Kathy for giving us this opportunity".

The eight charity organizations involved in the event:
Midland/Odessa Area AIDS Support, Inc. (MAAS)
Alzheimer’s Association
Bynum School
American Diabetes Association
Gifts of Hope-Midland
Keep Midland Beautiful
Lee High School AFJROTC Booster Club
Lonestar Animal Shelter

The charities will each keep 100 per cent of the proceeds raised by their organization. Tickets are $10 each and will be available for sale from the participating organizations and also at Miss Cayce’s Nov. 7th through Dec. 3rd.

The drawing for the tree will be Thursday, Dec. 5th LIVE on KMID’s Good Morning West Texas program!
