Hundreds Participate In Jingle Bell Jog

The Jingle Bell Jog benefitted Junior Achievement

MIDLAND -- It was certainly a gorgeous day on Saturday, and good day for a run if you had the chance.

Some people ran in the Jingle Bell Jog.

It's actually the oldest 5K race in West Texas.

It started at 9:00 a.m.

The cost to enter was $25 for adults and $5 for children.

"This is the oldest fundraiser that Junior Achievement has done in 28 years. We've been doing it for 28 years. So we're just thrilled and honored to be able to partner for the first time in 28 years with TexasGoTime.com to help register runners," James Parks said. He's the executive director for Junior Achievement in Midland.

About 200 people participated in the run, which benefitted Junior Achievement of Midland.
