Hounds Pen Blows Lead; Corpus Walks Off in Extras

The RockHounds received another fantastic start from Zach Neal, but the bullpen blows a late lead.
Zach Neal recorded another solid start for the Midland RockHounds on Friday night, but it wasn't enough as the Midland bullpen collapsed late.

Neal threw 7 innings, allowing 6 hits, and only 1 run. Midland had a 4-1 lead going into the bottom of the 8th inning but couldn't hold on.

In the bottom of the 8th, the Hooks Domingo Santana hit a game tying three run home run off of Midland's Ryan Dull and the game ended up needing extra innings.

Midland would take a 5-4 lead in the 10th after Jake Goebbert lead off with a double and scored on a double from Tyler Ladendorf.

Bottom of the 10th, Corpus had more come back power. With Mike DeMark on the mound for the Hounds, Jonathan Meyer hit a walk-off 3 run HR to seal the victory for Corpus 7-5.
