Dry conditions for the area with highs expected near 90 degrees this afternoon
Some areas in Eddy County received over 4" of rain overnight, leading to several major flooding concerns.

High water rescues were required in at least one location.

The good news for them: the rain looks to be coming to an end this afternoon.

We'll see mostly clear to partly cloudy conditions across the area today with highs near 90 degrees.

Tomorrow, we'll all stay dry with highs staying consistently around 90 degrees.

Saturday, we introduce a slight chance of rain into the forecast for the central Permian Basin.

Isolated chances could be possible Monday and Tuesday as well.

We stay around 90 through the forecast period.
