Golf Tips #7 06-09-13

IN THIS WEEKS GOLF HEADQUARTER'S GOLF TIPS SEGMENT CLUB PRO MIKE CROSSER TEACHES HORACE HOW TO STOP PULLING GOLF SHOTS TO THE LEFT.
(Mike)  Doyou notice that?   Do you notice that though when you swing?
(Horace)  Yes
(Mike)  No I mean do you know you're aiming there?
(Horace)  Yes.
(Mike)  You do?
(Horace)  I do.  Cause I alway feel like I'm going to pull it.
(Mike)  Okay.
(Horace)  But how can I stop that?
(Mike)  Well again we can't.  Quit leading with your shoulders.  Okay.  This is the shoulder you have to lead with.  An so if you pull the ball a lot I would suggest opening your stance up.
(Horace)  Okay.
(Mike)  So that it doesn't so you don't lead this way.  And then you just have to practice it.   I have to make sure that when I swing down the line my shoulders don't lead.  My hips lead at the same time.
(Horace)  Okay.
(Mike)  So that's your project all summer.  Okay if we can open you up a little bit.
(Horace)  How old are you Mike?
(Mike)  I'm 58.  I've been doing this for 55 years so.  Okay so think of your left now as where your going to aim with.  Right now you're about right of those poles.  Which is perfect.  Is that where you want to be?
(Horace)  Yes.
(Mike) So now open your stance a tiny bit.  Good.  Okay.  Now take that same good swing.  Don't be late with your hands.  Good.  Now that's the ball flight that should do right there.
