Golf Tips #14 07-28-13

HAVING A GOOD SHORT GAME CAN TAKE YOU FROM BOGEY TO BIRDIE.  CLUB PRO MIKE CROSSER TEACHES HORACE BROWN ABOUT HOW TO IMPROVE HIS SHORT GAME IN THIS WEEKS GOLF HEADQUARTER'S GOLF TIPS.
(Mike) Again when you have a high lofted club especially when you've got really acceptable greens lie you and I talked about before.  Don't be short.  I mean this is going to check good for you.  It's gonna spend good for you so throw this baby right at the hole.  And it's gonna die right now.  It's not gonna role out okay because I got all that loft to use that spin on it.  And of you get a little wristy you know that you gotta I mean you really have to practice.  I see people doing this.  You know you can't do it unless you practice it.  Normally it's just back and through.  Let that loft put that spin on that ball.  Depending on your lie just let the loft put it on there.  And it'll die  right now. Try you 60.
(Horace)  I'm just putting the club down.
(Mike)  Yes.  And your weights on your left side.  Make sure I get the loft on it.  Again let the club do the work don't you do it for it.  Don't you try to guide it.  See that sixty is only going to hop twice.  That's it so go right to the hole.
