Golf Tips #12 07-14-13

IN THIS WEEKS GOLF HEADQUARTER'S GOLF TIPS SEGMENT CLUB PRO MIKE CROSSER TEACHES HORACE BROWN ABOUT HOW TO PLAY THE GOLF BALL OUT OF THE SAND TRAP.
(Mike)  You're in a hazard.  So if you're in a hazard first you cannot ground your club.  And the average person does not know that.  to where this is grounding your club.  Okay you can't test the waters when you're in the sand trap.
(Horace)  Don't touch the sand.
(Mike)  The reason you're in here it's not you're penalized for being in here.  So the penalty is you have to start your swing from above.  So again when you're in there make sure you got a line down there and that's the line that you want to try to hit to have the sand explode the ball out.
(Horace)  That's about an inch.
(Mike)  About and inch behind.  Yeah, yeah. Make sure your footing is good.  Open your club a little bit.  Make sure you follow through every time. That's very important.  You almost made jar.
