MIDLAND -- Flu season is here and the Texas Department of State Health Services says the flu is on the rise.
Midland Memorial says its treated confirmed cases of the flu this winter.
DSHS wants to remind people if you haven't gotten a flu shot, now is the time.
Officials recommend that everyone six months and older get vaccinated.
There's now a nasal spray version that's available to those from two to 49 years old who are healthy, and a high dose version is approved for people 65 and older.
