ODESSA -- Ector County ISD high schools are piloting a program allowing students to use their cell phones in hallways during passing periods and scheduled meals in the cafeteria.
Cell phone use is restricted to the time, utilizing apps and general features including calculator and notes.
Students will not be able to make or receive phone or video calls within the school building.
