Decent Rain Chances Today And Tomorrow 9-10-2013

Best chances in the Trans-Pecos and SE New Mexico, but scattered storms possible in the central Permian Basin as well
Storms will be firing this afternoon in the Trans-Pecos.

Some of these storms could bring heavy rain to areas in SE New Mexico and the Western Trans Pecos.

Overall, rain chances look to be about 50% in far west Texas and SE NM.

For the Permian Basin, we are looking at about a 20% chance at those showers and storms.

Biggest concerns with any storm will be heavy rain and gusty winds.

Temperatures will only top out in the mid to upper 80's across the area.

In the Davis Mountains, they will struggle to get out of the 70's today.

Tomorrow we will see a similar set up with the rain to the west with temperatures about 2 or 3 degrees warmer.

We continue warming up and drying out into Friday, then we cool back down through the weekend and the beginning of next week.
