UPDATE: Shaved-Ice Robbery Suspect Arrested

Police say a masked man held up two employees at gunpoint on Monday morning in Big Spring.
BIG SPRING, TX (Local Big 2 News) - (UPDATE) 
A man accused of robbing a shaved-ice stand at gunpoint earlier this week is behind bars tonight.

Police arrested  Heriberto Medina-Torreson Tuesday.

Authorities responded to "Big A's Shaved Ice" in Big Spring Monday morning after two employees reported a gunman walking in, demanding cash and running away.

Medina-Torres faces an aggravated robbery charge. He remains in the Howard county jail on a $70,000 bond.

An aggravated robbery investigation is underway in Big Spring, according to police.

The incident happened around 6 on Monday morning at 'Big A Shaved Ice' on South Gregg Street.

Authorities tell Local Big 2 News that two employees reported a "black or Hispanic" man came in the door with a gun, demanding cash. The employees handed the man cash, and he fled, according to police.

Police say the suspect was wearing a dark gray hoodie, red pants and a red bandana covering his face.
