Police are asking for your help to find the woman who held up a Midland bank Wednesday afternoon
UPDATE: Charlotte Denise Hemphill has been arrested in connection to this robbery.

She is in jail waiting to see a judge and is being charged with one count of bank robbery.

MIDLAND -- Police are asking for your help to find the woman who held up a Midland bank Wednesday afternoon.

Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery that took place at a Midland bank Wednesday afternoon.

Midland Police Department responded to the incident at approximately 2:15 a.m. at Community National Bank located at 3303 N. Midkiff Road.
 
The suspect walked into the location and displayed a handgun and demanding money. The subject took an unknown amount of money and fled the scene, heading northbound on Midkiff Drive on foot. Police were unable to locate the suspect using K-9 units.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-1 to 5-foot-2 black female with a medium build who appeared to be between the ages of 35 and 45. She was said to be wearing a wig, baggy red sweatshirt, dark baseball cap and sunglasses. It appears that she may have been left-handed.
