UPDATE: Odessa Police Ask For Help in Identifying Train Death Victim

The Odessa Police Department is asking for help in identifying a man killed in a train accident Saturday morning.
UPDATE:

The decedent has been identified as Carlos Dailey, 17 years of age. Next of kin has been notified. Anyone with information in reference to this incident is encouraged to call the Odessa Police Department or Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS.

The investigation is ongoing.


ORIGINAL POST:

The Odessa Police Department is asking for help in identifying a man killed in a train accident Saturday morning.

Police say a Union Pacific train struck a young white man, possibly Hispanic.

The accident happened on the 1700 block of West Murphy (at Bankhead).

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ector County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The body will be sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
