UPDATE: Body Found in Pasture, Sheriff's Office Investigating

The Ector County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death after finding a man's body who might have been there for a week.
UPDATE: Ector County Sheriff, Mark Donaldson says this man has been identified as Edward Lewis Monju.

The Sheriff's Office says Monju's family has been notified, and they do not suspect foul play.

ECTOR COUNTY, TX (Local Big 2 News) - Authorities on Tuesday find a man's body in a pasture and say it could have been there for up to a week, according to a news release.

The Ector County Sheriff's Office has launched an investigation after finding the body around 10 on Tuesday morning in a pasture in the 2400 block of the Interstate 20 service road. The pasture is part of an electrical substation.

Investigators say the body is believed to that of a man who was between 35 and 45 years old and might have been there for up to a week, according to the sheriff's office.

The body has been sent to Tarrant county for an autopsy.
