UPDATE: Accused Killer Found Guilty

A four-day trial in Ector county leads to a guilty conviction for Marcus Lacy.
ECTOR COUNTY, TEXAS (Local Big 2 News) - (UPDATE) After four days in court, an Ector county jury finds Marcus Lacy guilty of a 2012 Odessa murder.

Shortly after the verdict, a judge handed down a 90-year prison sentence for Lacy and ordered him to pay a $10,000 fine.

Marcus Kristopher Lacy was indicted on murder charges back on September 24, 2012.

He's accused of slitting the throat of 62-year-old Charles Jennings at an Odessa home in July 2012.

Chaves County (NM) Sheriff's deputies arrested Lacy in Roswell, NM around 9 p.m. on July 19, 2012. 

His trial started at 11 Tuesday morning with jury selection.
