Two MCS Mustangs Sign to Play Baseball at UTPB

Two Midland Christian senior baseball players signed to continue their playing careers at UTPB.
From high school teammates, and now college teammates. That's what Midland Christian seniors Korey Rasure and Morgan Munguia will become as they both signed to continue their baseball careers at the University of Texas- Permian Basin.

Both Rasure and Munguia chose to become Falcons after visiting UTPB a couple weeks ago and checking out the program.

"Definitely the sports. I'm also going to miss all of the teachers here. I've been here for fifteen years and I feel really safe and at home here, but I also think I am going to feel like that at UTPB also" said Korey Rasure about what he will miss most at Midland Christian.

"Man it's great. I've been working hard for it for so long. I work hard every day. Hopefully I'm going to work even harder there. Hopefully one day I'll even continue my baseball career" said Morgan Munguia, who is the son of Midland Christian head baseball coach Mike Munguia, talked about what it felt like to be able to continue his playing career past high school.
