Three Lee Rebel football players signed to continue their playing careers at the collegiate level this afternoon.

Quarterback Caden Coots is headed to Wayland Baptist University in Plainview. The Pioneer football program is relatively new and Coots said that was one of the main reasons he decided to commit. "It's a dream come true. It's something that you think about when you're a little kid and you finally get the opportunity and it's kind of surreal. But I'm excited about the next step and really looking forward to it" said Coots.

Wide receiver Alex Bell will head east to Abilene and play at Hardin-Simmons University. Bell always knew he wanted to play college ball, but he figured it would be soccer instead of football. When the opportunity arose to play football at the next level, Bell said he might as well give it a shot. "It's a great feeling knowing that all of the hard work I've put in these past few years is starting to pay off. My family they've been real supportive. It just feels good knowing that there are people backing me up in my decision to go play college football" said Bell.

Last but certainly not least, the 2013 district 2-5A defensive M.V.P. Brives Turner will become a Cisco Junior College Wrangler. Turner is the first member of his family to go on and play college athletics, and he expressed multiple times how much of a blessing this is for him and his family. "It's nervous, and excitement. To me it brings joy to me. To show that I'm going to go somewhere else and play besides High School ball and take it to the next level. So it means a lot to me" said Turner.
