The Midland Royal Ambassadors Raise Money For Missions

The Midland Royal Ambassadors hiked for three miles at the I-20 Wildlife Preserve to raise money for missions.
The Midland Royal Ambassadors and Girls in action hiked three miles in the I-20 Wildlife Preserve to raise money for missions.

“Weather I’m teaching them knife safety, first aid, a lot of the things that you would see in somewhat of a boy scouts style but everything has a spiritual application,” said leader Benny Saenz.

The program is Bible centered and the idea was to get each child to get sponsored for every mile they walked.

“We were just walking about our second mile and we just saw a blackjack rabbit,” said Dahli Olivarez, a Girls in Action participant.

They raised over one thousand dollars for missions.
