Sub Shop To Donate Wednesday Sales To Food Bank

Jersey Mike’s Subs in Odessa will be donating all of its Wednesday's sales proceeds to West Texas Food Bank.
ODESSA, TX (Big 2 News) -- Jersey Mike’s Subs in Odessa will be donating all of its Wednesday's sales proceeds to West Texas Food Bank.

(ODESSA, TX.) Jersey Mike’s Subs in Odessa has identified the West Texas Food Bank
as its local charity to benefit from the company’s 4th Annual “Day of Giving” on March
26, 2014. On that day, Jersey Mike’s will donate 100% of the day’s sales to the Food
Bank, which helps meet the needs of food insecure residents of the Permian Basin.

“With Jersey Mike’s very generous fundraising efforts, we will be able to help even more citizens in need of food than normal,” states Libby Campbell, Executive Director of the food bank. “We are so excited that this wonderful national restaurant chain has selected us as the beneficiary of this major fundraising effort,” she adds.

Everyone is invited to come in to Jersey Mike’s Subs, located in the Parks Legado Town Center on Highway 191 in east Odessa, and enjoy a delicious sub meal on this special day. The West Texas Food Bank provides for those in need by distributing donated and
purchased food through a network of over 80 Partner Agencies such as food pantries,
shelters and soup kitchens serving 75,000 people in 19 counties throughout West
Texas.
