Rain Possible Today, Upper 80's Through The Week 9-16-13

30% chance of rain across the area, with temps staying warm
Hurricane Ingrid came on shore overnight, and some of that moisture should make it into our area this afternoon.

We have a 30% chance of seeing showers and thunderstorms across the Basin, but that chance increases to about 40% as you head south into the Trans-Pecos.

Partly to Mostly cloudy skies should help to keep our temperatures below 90 degrees.

Midland-Odessa should stay around 87 and 88 respectively.

After today, we start taking out those rain chances, but tomorrow could still bring about a 20% shot at seeing some rain.

Highs tomorrow will be similar to what we see today.

We start clearing out the clouds by Wednesday, so expect temperatures to increase to right around 90.

We bring rain chances back into the forecast as a cold front approaches the area Friday afternoon.

We're saying slight chances now, but those could increase as we get closer to Friday.

We expect temperatures this weekend to drop into the mid-80's, possibly even cooler depending on the track of the cold front.
