Police: Woman Attacks Man with Candle Holder, Box Cutter

An Odessa woman now faces felony charges after a Wednesday morning incident, according to police.
ODESSA, TX (Local Big 2 News) - A woman is arrested after throwing a glass candle holder at her common-law husband and approaching him with a box cutter while moving it in a "slashing motion", according to police.

Brooke Parson, 32, faces a felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police arrested Parson early Wednesday morning after responding to the 3500 block of Merrill after reports of an assault victim.

Police tell us that an investigation revealed bodily harm to Parson's common-law husband after she threw a glass candle holder at him and approached him with a box cutter, using a slashing motion.

Parsons was booked into the Ector County jail.
