The Odessa Police is looking for a man who resisted an arrest, kicked officers and was pepper sprayed after a disturbance.

Devon Carr has three active warrants and police are asking for the public’s help in finding him.

Police initially made contact with Carr on Feb.16, after they responded to a disturbance. When authorities arrived to the home in Odessa, Carr was intoxicated “on a substance other than alcohol,” Odessa Police said.

Officers tried to arrest Carr, but he resisted and placed his feet and pushed off the police car door, authorities said.

“Carr also attempted to kick at officers and was sprayed because he would not follow commands,” Odessa Police said.

After the incident, Carr was taken to Medical Center Hospital to receive an evaluation. He was released from the hospital but has outstanding warrants.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call the Odessa Police Department or Odessa Crime Stoppers.
