Permian Rushing Attack leads MOJO to Victory over Tascosa

The Panthers lost one of their running backs early, but another stepped in and lead the MOJO to a big victory over Amarillo Tascosa.
The Permian Panthers started off slow against Amarillo Tascosa, but the light came on in the 2nd half as the MOJO ran their way to a 38-23 district victory over the Rebels.

Permian running back Justin Hall left the game with an injury early, and Mikorban Fields stepped in and rushed for 165 yards. Brandon Bailey also rushed for over 100 yards in the game, and is the leading rusher for Permian so far in 2013.

Coach Feldt talked about his running backs stepping up in a time of need, saying "Considering the fact that one of our better running backs Justin Hall hurt his ankle -- in the second quarter we had to move some people around. Brandon Bailey we moved from running back up to full back and then we had to move Mikorban Fields from the slot position back to the running back position and he did phenomenal back there so I was really pleased with those guys."
