Reporter/Weekend Weather Anchor
Nick Russo joined Big 2 News in April 2014 as a Multimedia Journalist and Weekend Weather Anchor. He grew up in Massachusetts near Boston before moving to Vermont, where he graduated Cum Laude with his Bachelor's Degree in Television Studies/Broadcast News and minor in Atmospheric Sciences from Lyndon State College.

At Lyndon State, Nick worked for News 7, a student run newscast broadcasting to cities and towns in northeastern Vermont. Lyndon State was recently named a top 10 journalism school by News Pro magazine.

Nick also served as the Vermont State College's student representative to the college's Board of Trustees in 2012-2013, and as Lyndon's Student Government President in 2011-2012. He received the Vermont Campus Compact's Engaged Student of the year award in 2013.

In his free time, Nick enjoys exercising, fishing, skiing, and football. He is excited to be in Midland, Texas, a much warmer climate than Vermont.
