New Developments In The Radiation Leak At WIPP

New developments in the radiation leak at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico.
Carlsbad, NM (Big 2 News) - New developments in the radiation leak at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico.

Four employers are being flagged for further testing, according to the Carlsbad Current Argus.
The Department of Energy reportedly made the announcement about additional testing yesterday.

A total number of 21 employees are thought to have been exposed to the radiation leak.

Lawmakers are now raising questions about required safety inspections that were not performed at the plant prior to the leak.

The Carlsbad Current-Argus reports that in a letter sent to the Labor Secretary Thursday, two senators say it's "extremely concerning" that a fire in the plant was  preventable.
