Murphy Allows 4 Runs In First; Hounds Fall to Frisco

Sean Murphy had a rough first inning against the RoughRiders, and the RockHounds could never bounce back in the 11-6 loss Tuesday night.
Sean Murphy didn't have the start he would've liked tonight versus the Frisco RoughRiders. Murphy allowed five first inning hits which lead to four Frisco runs.

Murphy would last only 4.2 innings giving up 10 hits and 5 earned runs.

The RoughRiders turned a triple play in the bottom of the 2nd inning when Tyler Ladendorf hit a line drive to third that was caught by Guilder Rodriguez, who then doubled off Dusty Coleman at 2nd, then Frisco made the throw to first to make Chad Oberacker the final out of the 5-4-3 triple play.

The Midland bats would come alive and score 6 runs on 13 hits but it would be too little too late, as Frisco scored 11 runs and tallied 20 hits against the Hounds pitching staff.
