More Rain Today And Cooler Temperatures 10-15-13

Tropical moisture and a cold front provide a wet, cool day today
A cold front is currently working it's way through the Permian Basin.

Winds will shift to the north once the front passes by your area.

As the front runs through the area and meets tropical moisture from Octave moving through, it will spark more rain across the area.

Rain is already falling across Midland/Odessa and should continue off and on through the day.

Heaviest rain has fallen and will continue to fall across the Trans-Pecos, so a flash flood watch is in effect for Terrell, Pecos, Jeff Davis, Brewster, Upton, Reagan and Crane counties.

With the cloudiness and the cold front, look for temps only in the upper 60's today.

It will be even cooler tomorrow, topping out only around 59.

Wednesday will be another cloudy day with about a 30% chance for rain.

After that, we clear out and warm into the lower 70's for Thursday.

Friday we introduce a chance for rain under mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60's.

70's return for the weekend.
