Midland Christian Dominant Through Two Weeks

The Mustangs have outscored their opponents 85-10 through two games, and don't plan on stopping any time soon.

The Midland Christian Mustangs haven't let the pressure of trying to win a third straight state championship get in their way so far in 2013.

The Mustangs are 2-0, outscoring their opponents 85-10 through two games.

They haven't been against easy opponents either. The Mustangs have defeated the Monahans Loboes and Big Spring Steers to start their 2013 campaign, but this week they will have their first road game as they travel to Borger. Midland Christian head coach Greg McClendon is pleased with all aspects of his team right now, and loves the identity of the Mustang offense so far this season.

McClendon said "Our identity is we're so multiple its crazy. We lined up and ran the football really well against Big Spring. We ran the football well against Monahans. I think it's whatever you're giving us we can take it and can take full advantage of it. I was pleased with our offensive line. Honestly they're the ones that are going to make it to where we can throw the ball and run the ball well. I thought to this point that they have done a solid job."
