Meth Found in Mint Container; Two Arrested

ODESSA, TX (Local Big 2 News) - Odessa police find methamphetamine in an Altoids mint box after responding to reports of a prowler, leading to the arrest two people who both had outstanding warrants, according to officials.

Rayeanne Tuck, 35, and Cody Sellers, 27, both face charges. Tuck is accused of possesion of methamphetamine. Sellers faces charges of false identification, among other charges, according to police.

Officers arrived on Tuesday morning to the 3700 block of North Texas after dispatch says that someone reported a suspect trying to break into a vehicle and then ran off once the alarm activated, according to police. Minutes later, police found two people walking in the 3600 block of McKnight.

The two suspects lied to officers about their identities once confronted, according to police. Once officers were able to confirm their actual identities,police realized that each of them had three outstanding warrants for their arrest.

Police say that while searching Tuck's purse, they found methamphetamine hidden in an Altoids mint container.

Both were booked into the Ector county jail.
