MCS Mustangs Going for Undefeated Regular Season

Midland Christian has already clinched the district title, and a first round playoff game at home, but the Mustangs want to finish the regular season undefeated.
Midland Christian will be celebrating senior night and the final regular season home game of the year Friday night as they host Waco Reicher Catholic. The Mustangs have already clinched the district title in Division II - 1, but they want to make sure they finish the regular season undefeated.

MCS will host a first round playoff game at Mustang Field next week, but before they do that, they must focus on the task at hand in Reicher.

MCS head coach Greg McClendon said about the Cougars, "It's going to be about coming out and playing with that emotion. Waco Reicher has a really good quarterback, he throws the ball well and runs the ball well. He will certainly be controlling. Offensively it will be us taking what they give us, Defensively we need to come out and do a great job of shutting down their offense both in the passing game and the run game."
